Chronic Disease Management

We hold nurse led clinics for monitoring Diabetes, Heart disease, High blood pressure, Asthma, Chronic lung disease, Thyroid disease and Stroke, Dementia. In addition the doctors monitor mental health, epilepsy and cancer care.

Ante-natal Clinic

There is a weekly clinic for routine ante-natal checks based at the surgery and new bookings are arranged by the midwife. 

Well Women Clinic

In which cervical smears are carried out by the nurse.

Child Immunisation Clinic

Appointments are offered during our regular clinic times for child immunisations

Child Health Screening Clinic

The Health Visitors are based at Whitnash Children’s Centre on 336640.

Phlebotomy Clinic

Carried out every weekday morning at the surgery.

Smoking Cessation Clinics

Carried out by our Health Care Assistant and Practice Nurses

Other Services

We enjoy family practice and provide all general medical services.


Full services are provided. All doctors are able to offer advice on most contraceptive methods. In addition our two women doctors are able to offer advice and fit/administer long acting contraceptives including contraceptive injections, "coils" (including Mirena) and Implanon devices. Our nurses are able to offer advice on barrier methods of contraception. We can prescribe the morning after pill.


We offer pre-pregnancy counselling, antenatal and postnatal care. We believe babies should be born in hospital but are happy to do all the other necessary checks with the help of our midwife.

Minor Surgery

We undertake many minor surgical procedures (injections, removal or moles, in-growing toenails and other unwanted lesions). If you think we can help ask at reception for more details.

Travel Advice

Immunisations, malaria prevention and general advice is available from one of our nurses.  Some of these services are not part of our NHS provision and may attract a fee

Blood Tests

    • Blood tests are carried out every weekday morning at the surgery.

    • Warfarin clinics are held on the first Friday of every month at Lisle Medical Centre on Brunswick St.  

    • Urgent blood tests carried out every weekday morning at the surgeryIf your doctor needs an urgent blood test then you will be given special instructions on where to go to have this done.
